Q. How long is the album?
A. The album lasts about 35 minutes, the optimum time to relax baby to sleep.
Q. How many tracks are there?
A. There are twelve tracks plus an extra bonus track for all albums ordered online.
Q. What are the benefits of this album?
A. Played regularly as part of a sleep time routine, not only will this music soothe baby to sleep it stimulate his mind as well. Baby's imagination will be nurtured. His brain will develop faster, the ability to concentrate will improve, and listening and language skills will increase. Balance and co-ordination will also benefit.
Q. So what influenced the selection of songs?
A. Undoubtedly the help given to us by Patrick de la Roque. He is a leading clinical psychologist, specialising in the listening therapy techniques of Dr Tomatis.
Q. Which songs are personalised?
A. The lyrics of Mozarts Lullaby, Chopin's nocturne and Brahms Lullaby have been adapted and arranged so they can be sung to your baby by name. You can actually hear your baby's name in these songs. Your baby's name is woven into the fabric of the album and is heard throughout. Other lullabies on the album, for example Jazz Lullaby, Schubert's Lullaby, Golden Slumbers etc are sung to a little boy or girl as appropriate. This makes the whole CD even more personal.
Q. What about the front cover?
A. This is personalised too with your baby's name printed on the top. Covers are available in pink, lilac, blue or yellow. An additional innovation is what we call the CD photoframe. The CD cover is reversible and turns into a mount into which you can put baby's photo.and we print your baby's name on that too!
Q. What if my child has an unusual name?
A. We can create an album for ANY name. Simply click the "create baby CD" link & type in your baby's name. If we do not currently have your baby's name in our catalogue, we will record one especially for you, for just £2 extra. This service takes 28 days.
Q. What is this bonus track?
A. This is the Jazz Lullaby featuring Terry Seabrook on keyboard, Herbie Flowers on bass and Sara Mullett on vocals.
